New TV adverts for Just-Eat.dk
After some serious work by our Danish team on creating a new angle and concept for how to do TV ads, I’m so happy to see the outcome. I really really love these ads. They are humorous, modern and proffesional looking. They were developed together with the guys at Uncle Grey, and they did a fantastic piece of work! It’s great to see our brand developing ![]()
The ads are of course in Danish, so for the English speakers outthere you will just have to stick to our UK concept Belly & Brain.
“Feeling at home”
“My First Words”
Enjoy the ads, and please let me know what you think of them in the comments!
Going Japanese in Denmark
As I have decided to also use Kwigger.com as my blogging platform for my posts related to Just-Eat, this will be the virgin post in that area.
Just-Eat is today a big success in multiple countries, but Denmark is still our main stronghold and where we completely own the market in terms of online ordering of takeaway. This is a great thing, and something we have worked very hard to achieve over the years. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement and continued growth. One of the ways to do that is through broadening of what we offer to our customers in terms of cuisines and choice.
The issue in Denmark is that the takeaway delivery market is completely dominated by pizza. This means that we have had to be innovative in our approach to activating other types of restaurants into the takeaway market. We did this by establishing our own delivery service (Just-Delivery), that today handles delivery to consumers in Copenhagen and Aarhus from restaurant that normally didn’t have a delivery service. This gives us a chance to offer more choice, so that people can order for instance Indian food, Japanese sushi, Chinese food and much more. Actually today there are more than 25 sushi restaurants available on Just-Eat.dk.

We have grown our Danish business greatly this way, and expanded it’s customer base – both number wise and in terms of demography.
