Just-Eat

I have been part of Just-Eat since 2002 and loved every minute of it. It’s been a privilege to help build a great successful ecommerce business. We are today in 17 markets and more will soon follow. We are growing at an incredible rate and sometimes it’s honestly hard to keep up. Only two years ago we were around 40 full time people in total – it’s now around 500.

Over the years I have been involved with pretty much every corner of the business. I started out managing our Danish customer care team part time while I was studying. Then I went into field sales while also handling all our internal graphics design needs (my educational background – see cv). Later on I moved into our office team and acted as a lieutenant for our MD Jesper Buch. In 2007 when we set up shop in the United Kingdom I moved to London to head up the business together with our UK Sales Director David Buttress. We had a couple of incredibly hard and fun years until early 2009 when I changed over to be part of our senior group management heading up our Product department.

Today I’m involved with SEO, web analytics and conversion optimization across all the markets and it gives me a chance to work closely together with all our local teams. We have some fantastic people in each country, all eager to learn new things and share the knowledge they have. Spirits are high and it makes it such a joy to work with them.
