Just-Eat eats £10.5 mill in funding

Today is a great day. After months of work we are finally able to announce the closing of our first financing round. We have got a ton of working capital into the business mainly through Index Ventures, one of Europe’s best venture capital funds, and we are now ready to take on the huge task of getting online takeaway out to the world! It’s very exciting and also means that I can ramp up our efforts on delevoping our products – especially our web proposition.

We have got some amazing publicity from the announcement today already. We have made the front page of Techcrunch.com and articles in tons of newspapers – offline and online in the countries where we operate.
