Introducing Belly & Brain and a new website
In Just-Eat we have been preparing for this week for three months. So much exciting stuff is going on at the moment and we are absolutely flying growthwise in all countries. But we are an ambitious bunch, and so we have our sights set on something much much bigger. To help us get there, we have this week (yesterday) launched a revamped version of the Just-Eat.co.uk website (and the rest of the countries following suit in weeks to come) that we believe brings the look and feel of the site up to 2009. I’m very excited about it, and I can’t thank our brilliant Tech team enough for working their ass off over the last 4-6 weeks in getting it ready!
Besides the website this is also the week where we launch our first ever big marketing campaign in the UK. As of Thursday we are going on TV with our new cool characters Belly & Brain, who we believe will help everybody to takeaway, the smart way. I love the two guys, and as I’m a big fan of animation as well, that just adds to the coolness in my world. The first TV airing will happen Thursday during the Everton vs. Benfica football match on Channel 5.

Haha, that is quite a nice looking commercial, and seems like a nice timing to air it during a football match. Hope it give you guys a good ROI, and some nice branding in the UK.
Amesome design and cool little guys. Unfortunately I’m not able to see the commercial when it goes live but I am hoping you’ll be adding some of it to youtube for us to see?
Looks cool.
Would be great to hear your thoughs about how effective the offline campaign have been for your salen afterwards!
@Mikael
There are already on YouTube. Follow the link below the image of Belly & Brain in the post.
Haha – awesome. It is easy to get the point – convenience. Funny names, professionally made – all good.
haha. I know it is a secret to noone that fast food is fattening, but still…
One thing just struck me though – Belly is one fat bast#rd (hence the name) but is that a good signal to send…? Order food on Just-Eat and get fat
soalive.. Belly may be fat but that doesnt mean you get fat by ordering at Just-Eat. Otherwise all the smart bastards should have a big head like Brain.
@Maurice: I know and I like the two characters a lot. Just mentioning it meant as a constructive input
